Busybody

I’ve been a bit busier than usual the last few weeks. Missed last week’s post. More beer for everyone! Here’s a list of things I’ve done between my last post and now. (Why yes, this is a pretense for skipping another week. Glad you asked.)

• I planned an event for two weeks from now: Free Some Information! Learn about FOIA requests and submit your own. Nov 13th!
• I volunteered for the Boston Python Workshop for women and their friends, and led a project lesson.
• I wrote a simple program that sorts my music by tags and lets me listen to playlists via the command line.
• I mainlined three straight seasons of The Vampire Diaries during the hurricane. Recommended only if you like your ratio of pretty boys to quality disturbingly high.
• I wrote a blog post for OpenHatch about our latest open source workshop.
• I started a new part time job doing medical research.
• I made a shirt! Look:
