This year Deb Nicholson and I ran a pre-conference workshop for free software projects to improve their usability and new contributor onboarding, hosted by the lovely folks at Bocoup. According to our participants it was a smashing success. Deb and I are writing up a guide so that other FOSS conferences can run similar workshops.
